Department: Operating Room

Shift:  Day

Working Hours:  8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Summary:
Provides support to assist the Director in meeting goals of BHMC and System; participates in hospital-wide development of patient care programs, policies and procedures related to nursing care needs of patients. Assists in developing and implementing plans to provide nursing care. Responsible and accountable for leadership and management for clinical practice and resources of the nursing department on a 24 hour basis.

Effectively plans and executes strategic priorities.
Prioritizes demands from multiple resources.
Leads and directs clinical and administrative staff.
Promotes a culture of safety and a culture of change.
Projects poise, displays a positive attitude, and conveys professionalism.

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
