Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is seeking dedicated and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our nationally recognized Perioperative Services team. As a Level I Trauma Center and Magnet-designated hospital, BIDMC provides an environment defined by clinical excellence, continuous learning, and patient-centered collaboration.
You’ll be part of a highly specialized surgical nursing team supporting nearly 30,000 operative procedures each year across three dynamic operating areas:
Operating Room West (10 Rooms) – A critical part of our surgical services, supporting Level I Trauma, Bariatric, Neurosurgery, ENT, Orthopedic Trauma, Spine, Major Plastic Reconstruction, Robotic Surgery, and Transplant (Kidney & Liver). This team manages some of the hospital’s most complex and urgent cases, and we are actively seeking experienced perioperative nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Operating Room East (20 Rooms) – High-volume general and specialty cases, including OB/GYN, Colorectal, Plastic, Ortho-Sports, General, ENT, Eyes, Urology, Robotics, and Interventional Pulmonology.
Cardiovascular OR (CVI OR) – Advanced cardiac, endovascular, thoracic, and interventional pulmonology procedures within state-of-the-art facilities, including hybrid and endovascular suites. Our perioperative team is united by a shared mission: to deliver surgical care of the highest quality, advance health through innovation and discovery, and prepare future leaders in American surgery.
Shifts & Scheduling
8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts available
On-call rotation covering off-shifts, weekends, and holidays
Full-time and part-time options (24–40 hours per week)

Qualifications
Active RN license in Massachusetts
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Minimum one (1) year of recent OR experience
Completion of Periop 101 (required)
BLS certification
