\n RN Nurse Manager for the Operating Room at our Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance, CA. This position is Full-Time and will oversee the total operations and clinical team members of the Operating Room.\n

\n Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.\n

\n California Registered Nurse License upon hire.\n
\n
\n National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.\n

\n NNR for employees in L&D, NICU, Nursery, Postpartum (Postpartum - within 90 days from date of hire; Other - within 180 days of completion of clinical orientation)\n
\n
\n 5 years' Experience within specialty.\n
\n
\n 3 years Management experience.\n
\n

\n Preferred Qualifications:\n

- Minimum 5 years of direct RN clinical experience working in a dedicated Operating Room in a Hospital \n
- Minimum 3 years experience in Nurse Leadership positions (Charge RN, Supervisor, ANM, Manager) \n

Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Active unencumbered Registered Nurse California state license
- Graduate from a fully accredited Registered Nurse program
- One year of work experience as Registered Nurse
- One year of EMR experience
- Board Certified

- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

- A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
- Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
