Small team, big capability. Cheshire runs five modern OR suites (plus a sixth in L&D) with a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and a culture built on tight interdisciplinary teamwork. You’ll care for adolescent through adult patients, applying evidence-based practice in a highly technical setting that values safety, quality, and calm under pressure.
- Average daily volume: 20–25 cases
- Team makeup: Registered Nurses, Certified Surgical Technologists, and Registered Nurse First Assistants (RNFAs)
- Robotics & tech: Robust robotic surgery program (general, gynecologic) and robotic-assisted total joints (including total knees)
- High-volume orthopedics: Total joints, sports medicine (rotator cuff, ACL repairs)
- Breadth of specialties: General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Podiatry
Schedule & Call
- Shifts: Choose 5×8s or 4×10s, Monday–Friday (full-time)
- Call coverage team: Circulating RN, scrub RN, and RNFA
- Call requirements:
- One weekday evening per week (Mon–Thu) until 7:00 pm
- One Friday evening per month
- One Saturday per month
- One Sunday per month
- How call is set: Staff-driven schedule—the team meets the second Tuesday each month to build next month’s call (fairness + flexibility; yes, your life matters).
- Holiday coverage rotates.
What You’ll Experience

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current NH RN license and BLS certification
- 1+ year of nursing experience (surgical nursing preferred)
- Strong communication and the ability to adapt quickly in stressful situations
